  • Responsible for daily calculations of fuel consumption, internal transfers and barge receipts for the 3 facilities in the Aguirre Complex. Due to the need for lack of personnel, absences or demonstrations at the request of PREPA, I have had to perform the Pumping & Fuel Operator functions on several occasions. In addition to these functions, I am required to collect data daily to make the following reports.
  • Daily tank fuel consumption report for the entire Aguirre Complex.
  • Register each fuel barges discharges or Propane delivery received.
  • Monthly Generation Thermal Efficiency Report
  • Outputs and limitations report – monthly
  • Fuel Quality Report – monthly · Bunker C reserve tank utilization report – monthly
  • Tank Certifications Report Bunker C – monthly
  • Report % S (sulfur) of Propane burned –monthly.
  • Report receipt of Bunker C or Light Oil barges and Propane dispatch for each delivery received.
  • Report Hours of Service Units I & II Thermoelectric Plant – monthly
  • Annual Report TIER'S I & II
  • Fuel tank inventory of the Aguirre Complex –quarterly and annually.
  • Hydrostatic test certification of Bunker C & Light Oil fuel lines and 3 loading arms dock area - annually
  • Programming Template in Excel used for the report consumption diary, Thermal Efficiency report and recording Generation Units Status – monthly.
  • Notifications to the Coast Guard due to special dock area conditions
  • Coordination with Fuel Environmental Laboratory for certification of BC tanks
  • Coordination with Fuel Office for future deliveries of barges
  • Coordination of Propane dispatch
  • Coordination for dispatch of compressed gases used within the operations section as well as the receipt in ASSET SUITE of all deliveries and generation of “material request” to maintain minimum operational inventory.
  • Management and filing of documentation generated daily as well as monthly.
  • Management of the Caribbean Diving Contractors Company Contract
  • Review of the Checklist for Internal Transfers, Barge Receipt and modification as necessary.
  • Modification of the Fuel Receipt Protocol in the dock area as necessary
  • Coordination of Internal Fuel Transfers at the Aguirre Complex for Daily Bunker Transfers C, Diesel Transfers to Hydro Gas Plant and Diesel Transfers to Combined Cycle Plant.


  • In addition to the responsibilities described above. Performs several additional simultaneous functions. Roles such as Environmental Compliance Officer and Senior Shift Engineer. As required, I acted as head of operations.
