Personal Information

Title: Skincare Advisor, Cosmetic Chemistry Knowledge

Skin Care and Makeup

I have a strong personal interest in skincare and makeup, which has grown alongside my studies in chemistry. My long-term goal is to become a cosmetic chemist and work in the formulation of skincare and makeup products for reputable beauty brands. Because of my chemistry background, I pay close attention not only to how a product looks or feels, but also to its ingredients, how they function, and how different skin types may respond to them.

I am particularly interested in understanding active ingredients, ingredient interactions, and potential sensitivities. For example, I am familiar with salicylates such as salicylic acid and understand the importance of considering a client's known sensitivities or allergies when discussing products. My academic background has also given me a deeper appreciation for sunscreen ingredients, antioxidants, formulation stability, and how cosmetic products are designed to perform on the skin.

What excites me most about working at Sephora is the opportunity to combine my scientific knowledge with my genuine interest in beauty and help clients feel more confident and informed when selecting products that fit their individual needs.
