This department oversees all empty operations of Isotanks in the company's fleet, focusing on cleaning food grade or chemical washes, regulatory inspections, maintenance and repairs, and preparation for loads. Ensuring compliance with customer loading plant requirements and meeting client needs through careful coordination and assignment of Isotanks.

Maintenance and Repair Supervisor

2022- current

In charge of overseeing all M&R for our Puerto Rico and International Fleet of Isotanks.

• Fleet Compliance: Keep the fleet up to date with all required regulatory inspections as established by the International Maritime Organization. These inspections ensure that isotanks comply with safety standards for loading, transporting and storing bulk liquid.
• Repair Coordination: Coordinate priorities for tank repairs based on business needs, balancing urgency with operational efficiency.
• Inspection Oversight: Controlled inspections of tanks entering the depots, maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
• Repair Estimates: Review and approve estimates received from our international depots for our isotanks maintenance.
• CAPA Reports: Prepare CAPA reports of rejections at loading plants, shipping line and trucking accidents. Ensuring we comply in the future with the corrective and preventive action.
• Scully System Project - Jet Fuel clients: Worked directly with our Puerto Rico Depot personnel in identifying and preparing isotanks that can be modified with a scully system for loading Jet fuel for different clients.
• Emergency Response Fleet project: Knowing the difficulties our people went through during Hurricane Maria I started a project for identifying an emergency fleet of Isotanks for Potable Water, Non-potable water and petroleum distillates. I am in charge of this fleet and respond to the administration for it. My main task is to maintain a fleet of 30 isotanks ready to load for this type of emergencies.

Chassis Operations Supervisor

• Fleet management: Supervise the chassis fleet operating between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, making sure demand was satisfied in both regions.
• Operational Coordination: Coordinate daily operations for chassis to ensure timely transportation and logistics.
• Maintenance oversight: Managed routine maintenance an inspections of chassis, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and minimizing downtime.
• Data Analysis: Review and monitored chassis reports to identify trends, improve processes, and increase fleet efficiency.
• Customer Collaboration: Worked closely with customers to address needs and resolve issues related to chassis availability.
• Team Leadership: Supervised a team of operators, providing training and support to ensure high standards of service and safety.

International Agencies Liaison

• Communication Facilitation: Act as the primary point of contact between Flexitank and our International Agencies, ensuring clear communication and efficient cross-cultural collaboration.
• Problem Solving: Find solutions to any operative problems that arise.
• Interdepartmental Support: Provide support to our Customer Service and Equipment Control Specialist working directly with any agency.
• Invoice Analysis: Discuss and analyze differences in operational invoices that cannot reach an agreement of payment with Flexitank.
• Standard Operating Procedure: Develop an SOP that every agency should comply with, ensuring consistency and clarity in our operations.
• Training and Support: Provided training and support to team members on best practices for international operations.

Equipment Control Analyst

2021 - 2022

• Documentation Management: Preparation of Shipping Instructions and all necessary documentation, streamlining processes for exporting and importing Isotanks across different regions.
• Data Management: Reviewed reports from our International Agencies and updated our data systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Booking Logistics: Managed bookings for exporting and importing empty isotanks, facilitating transportation and delivery.
• Customs Preparations: Prepared documentation for releasing tanks from US Customs when importing from International Regions into major ports like Houston and New Orleans.
• Sales Engagement: Actively listened to our Sales Department requests for isotanks availability to meet our business needs effectively.
• Assignment Compliance: Assign equipments to new order requests for businesses in the Puerto Rico region.

• Maintenance Process Improvement: Collaborated closely with the Director of Physical Plant to identify and implement strategies for improving facility operations and maintenance.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Assisted in coordinating projects related to campus infrastructure, making sure we were align with operational goals.
