During my shadowing experience with Dr. Javier Melendez, an esteemed allergist and immunologist, I gained profound insights into the intricate intersection of medicine and science. Witnessing Dr. Melendez's expertise and dedication has solidified my genuine interest in the field. This experience not only provided me with valuable exposure to medical practices but also reinforced my aspiration to pursue a career in medicine, fueled by a passion for scientific inquiry and patient care.

Contributed to TriBeta's dog food drive by delivering a donation of dog food. As a member of the college association, I embraced the opportunity to support this initiative, promoting the well-being of dogs in need.

I worked in a community service program at an estate with my colleagues , where we supported the property owners by taking care of plants, engaging in gardening activities, and helping with cleaning duties. Through our combined efforts, we were able to restore and beautify the estate area while also strengthening our group relationships and encouraging community involvement and shared responsibility.

Contributed with donations to help a church in Honduras as part of a charitable project with the college association, MEDLIFE. This contribution, which demonstrates our shared commitment to community development and the preservation of cultural and religious legacy, demonstrates our commitment to global service.

Actively participated in 'Relevo por la Vida' as a member of a dedicated group organized by a lifelong friend deeply involved in the cause. Our collective responsibility included selling shirts to benefit the Relevo association, simultaneously seeking donations to support individuals battling cancer. This hands-on experience not only underscored the importance of grassroots fundraising but also reinforced our commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of cancer patients, contributing to the broader mission of the Relevo association.

Organizing a dog food drive for Santuario Canita in September 2024. Excited to leverage community support for a cause close to my heart, ensuring the well-being of rescued dogs. Dedicated to making a positive impact, I look forward to fostering generosity and compassion within our community for the benefit of the sanctuary and its residents.

I participated in a talk where we educated fourth grade kids on what is microbiology and how to take care of our gut microbiota. Their curiosity and enthusiasm made the experience incredibly rewarding for both them and myself.Additionally, adapting the material to engage young minds sharpened my creativity and ability to connect with diverse audiences.

During my internship at Corteva Agriscience, I gained experience in media preparation, inventory management, plant tissue culture techniques, and the use of specialized equipment like autoclaves. Additionally, I managed databases to consolidate and discard seeds, ensuring precision in lab processes and strengthening my skills in a regulated environment. I also implemented safety protocols within the laboratory setting, reducing workplace accidents and injuries.
