• Supervised and mentored staff on proper verification of applicant information in the National Emergency Management Information System (NEMIS).
• Supervised and mentored personnel providing Individuals and Households Program (IHP) specific information to applicants to include discussing case statuses to confirm applicants' understanding of the disaster assistance programs and processes.
• Thoroughly reviewed cases in NEMIS and identified issues to be addressed to recommend next courses of action.
• Provided necessary training and monitoring of Applicant Services Program Specialists (ASSP) working the Direct Housing program in FEMA's HOMES database.
• In consultation with supervisor, supervised lease termination procedures for the Direct Housing program, in accordance with applicable FEMA policy.
• Generated regular and ad-hoc reports that summarize progress of all tasks and identifying trends that could impact mission priorities or objectives.
• Coordinated with the Voluntary Agency function to ensure applicants receiving the IHP Max award for Housing Assistance (HA) are appropriately referred for any Unmet Needs assistance.
