Versatile and ambitious undergraduate biology graduate with a passion for interdisciplinary learning and a drive to excel in both the fields of medicine and law. • Volunteer, Hospital del Niño, San Juan, 2010, Part of a group organized by the Hospital Menonita to visit the Hospital del Niño.
• Organizer, Charco Azul, Patillas, 2019, I organized a group of young people to clean up the Charco Azul de Patillas.
• Co-organizer, Guanica Earthquakes, Guánica, 2020, I organized a group of young people to collect and bring supplies to those affected by the earthquakes. It was a collaboration with professional tattoo artist Valeria Mendez and the administration of cafe El Mirador in Cayey.
• Volunteer, Municipality of Cayey, Cayey, 2017, Volunteer and escort t the staff of the Family Dept. to collect information from victims of Hurricane María in Cayey.
• Volunteer, Mas Allá del Mic, Cayey, 2022, I collaborated with the organization to deliver supplies after Hurricane Fiona, particularly to the community known as Las Vegas.
• Organizer, Ángel Azul-Manos de Esperanza project, Aibonito, 2023, As part of Ángel Azul, we helped the Amoldadero community finish building a local parish that is indispensable to community organization during natural disasters.
• Organizer and volunteer, Enlace Volunteering Group and PHSU Anesthesiology Interest Group, 2024, Helped with public outreach, community organizing and marketing for health fair Feria de la Mujer Metro 2. Thanks to my efforts, we were granted an interview on national radio. Helped at the event by taking medical histories and vital signs.

• 75 hours patient contact hours: As part of the "Ángel Azul" project I was able to volunteer in multiple areas of the Mennonite hospital in Cayey. These experiences included taking vitals in both the pediatric and adult Emergency Room, providing assistance with the care of patients in the Surgical and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, helping the nurses in preparation for interventional cardiology procedures and aiding the surgeons during multiple Obstetrics and Gynecology surgeries.

• 8 hours of shadowing a Nuclear Medicine specialist, Dr. Sandra Gracia.

• 25 hours of shadowing Dr. Jaime Díaz, anesthesiologist.

• 2023-present: Researcher in the SEAPHAGES project with the goal of finding, purifying and characterizing novel bacteriophages in local dirt.
• 20-April-2024: SEAPHAGES poster to be presented at the 42nd Puerto Rico Interdisciplinary Scientific Meeting (PRISM) & 57th ACS Junior Technical Meeting.
• May-2024: Project Manos de Esperanza-Ángel Azul is a community volunteering based research initiative that will be presented at a school wide symposium in UPR Cayey.
