Primarily provide support to the inspection division of the manufacturing department, which includes packaging equipment as well. Responsibilities involve solving daily issues, support process optimizations and execute work orders such as corrective, general and preventive maintenance. Equipment supported include:

• Vial inspection equipment: Eisai automatic and manual inspection equipment, Seidenader, Wilcomat (paired with Rockwell collaborative robot),

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve automation control issues, ensuring smooth operation of the assembly line.

Duties:

• Provide support to battery cell manufacturing equipment including terminal assembly, battery cell weld equipment, helium leak testers, electrolyte fillers, conveyance and cell inspection equipment.
• Perform Beckhoff TwinCAT 3/2 structured text troubleshooting and code changes to improve processes, as well as troubleshooting of hardware such as Ethercat, Profinet, EAP, Ethernet, analog/digital I/O including intrinsic hardware as well as troubleshoot automation and electro-mechanical hardware such as variable frequency drives, electrical motors, photo-eyes (fiber optic / laser / retro-reflective), load cells, servo-drives.
• Identify opportunities to optimize the performance of automated processes by analyzing data and implementing process improvements utilizing Process Change Approval requests
• Utilization of Tesla's asset management and dispatch system for equipment repairs, engineering projects and machine problem-solving
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and procure automation hardware, control systems, and other equipment needed for the assembly line.

As the senior maintenance technician, I responded as the technical lead of the plant's injection department, which handled PET and HDPE resin. This put me in charge of eight injection presses, four material drying systems, material handling and optical inspection systems.

Duties:

• Lead the injection department personnel (PM Technicians, Maintenance Technicians and operators) by organizing and scheduling all technical tasks, such as scheduling preventive maintenance structure, scheduling equipment rebuilds and repairs and provide technical training to all injection department employees.
• Set-up and management of all equipment processes (from mechanical to software setup) to ensure optimal part quality and optimal equipment function.
• Organize and schedule tasks, completely involved with every task necessary along with the team, such as preventive maintenance, mold/equipment rebuilds and repairs, as well as mold/product changeovers

Maintenance supervisor in a cold fill manufacturing plant, leading a team of mechanics, and parts room planner.

Duties:

• Coordinate employee schedules, approve timecards (Kronos), weekly down day planning, PM schedules and contractor services
• Involved in new hire process such as position opening requests, interview, and selection
• Develop employees by offering equipment training and coaching to assist in their progress within the company

Duties:

Design preventive maintenance strategies and schedules, service work orders and keep logs of employee tasks to ensure equipment is in optimal conditions, complying with all OSHA and fire department safety requirements.

In charge of all mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs, PLC programming and line automation for a bleach and cleaning products manufacturing plant

• Responsible for troubleshooting, set-up and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment including control/power panels, AC and DC motors, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, VFDs, DC drives, relay-based and PLC logic and automation devices
