Founder and Board President - Mayaguez Foundation for the Musical Arts


Established as a non for profit organization in November of 2024 with the mission of promoting classical music in the west coast of Puerto Rico and providing educational experiences for local music students. We have collaborated with many musicians and organizations since we incorporated in 2024. We are patrons of the Puerto Rico Symphonic Orchestra and recently approved a grant to the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music. As part of the grant, the Conservatory will bring to the performances from their Symphonic Orchestra, Chamber Orchestras, as well as master classes to our hometown. The grant also will provide an annual scholarship to a local music student that has been accepted at the Conservatory. The grant is valid for 3 years.
