Managed every stage from petition to court order, coordinating with TBI, MNPD, Metro Legal, community organizations, and the Criminal Court Clerk’s Office. Navigated evolving statutes, corrected information across multiple state record systems, and trained attorneys, staff, and interns in new procedures that made expungement more accessible to the public, and expanded community access to opportunities and second chances.
  • Grand Jury ADA (Sept. 2022 – Nov. 2025) – Prepared bound-over cases spanning a full range of criminal charges before later specializing in DUIs. Reviewed and amended charges, prepared indictments, and ensured legal sufficiency before Grand Jury presentation. Coordinated administrative accuracy and advised the Grand Jury during sessions.
  • Steering Clear (Apr. 2022 – Sept. 2022) – Supported license diversion program restoring driving privileges for participants through education, service, and compliance. Advanced alternatives to prosecution and reduced financial and legal barriers tied to license suspensions.

  • The Neon Guard is a group of volunteer Nashville community members. We promote and facilitate the safety of marginalized communities during direct actions using resistance and nonviolent de-escalation tactics. We help with street crossings during marches, engage counter-protesters to de-escalate, and serve as a buffer between protesters and police, when requested.
