As as medical student, apart from my classes, I've been of part of different organizations and participated in different hospitals like JNF Hospital at St. Kitts and New England Rehabilitation Center at Portland, Maine as part of the Clinical Skills curriculum.
As part of the Genomic Education Partnership at UPR at Cayey, my goal was to assist in teaching new members on how to work and succeed at their investigations. When I was part of this investigation the goal was to find and fix different genomic sequences for Drosophila species. As a veteran member, I was assigned TA duties to help new members at these tasks.
As part of the Blue Angels Group at UPR at Cayey, my services were based on making sure patients at the hospital triage were feeling as comfortable as possible. I helped triage nurses take vitals, EKGs, and dextrose tests. I also had the experience of helping nurses from ICU taking care of patients.
