Revenue of 66 million euros, 110 employees, one-third of whom are engineers employed in R&D.Designer of automatic machines for cash handling, reporting directly to the Electronic Manager in R&D with the following responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze high-level project requirements, interfacing with sales and other technical areas (mechanical, firmware, software).
• Define feasibility and evaluate alternative solutions, adopting DFX/DFM/DFT criteria early in the project.
• Analyze risks and countermeasures in design following FMEA procedures.
• Design electronic product architecture and hardware layout, create electrical schematics, and support PCB layout engineer.
• Select components carefully to reduce project risks.
• Define and size external electronic objects like motors, sensors, and embedded systems.
• Design wiring connections according to hardware layout, collaborating with the mechanical department for cable routing.
• Organize prototypes, define tests and simulations, and support certification activities.
• Oversee EMC/FCC and CBB certification with preliminary tests and direct interfacing with external labs.
• Draft BOMs and produce technical project documentation per Quality procedures.
• Create and verify test procedures with production and subcontractors.
• Apply problem-solving processes with the support department for customer-reported issues.
