Life Coach
· Motivate individuals to take initiative.
· Support them in building self-esteem.
· Explain the benefits of being productive.
· Promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
· Teach how to learn and improve from failures.
· Help them strive to live as independently as possible.
· Correct unacceptable behaviors.
Vocational Coaching
· Prepare individuals for the job search.
· Provide on-the-job coaching during the first two to three weeks of employment.
· Teach financial management skills.
· Encourage independent decision-making.
· Teach how to buy and select healthy food.
· Guide them in managing their own errands.
Case Management
· Connect individuals with doctors and specialists (psychiatrist, psychologist, primary care, dental, etc.).
· Schedule and provide transportation to appointments.
· Assist with food stamp recertification.
· Process applications for Social Security Disability (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
· Enroll individuals in health insurance.
· Provide support with budgeting and money management.
· Accompany them when shopping for groceries and personal products.
· Complete additional errands as requested by parents.
Supervision
· Monitor and encourage personal hygiene.
· Ensure regular apartment cleaning.
· Oversee laundry.
· Ensure food is available and not expired.
· Encourage and supervise regular exercise.
· Conduct drug testing when required.
Medication Management
· Prepare daily medication doses.
· Assist with self-administration of medication.
· Request prescription refills from primary care physicians and psychiatrists.
